Asian stock markets are headed for losses on Wednesday as a negative lead from Wall Street dampens the previous session’s relief rally over the Greek elections.
Australia’s S&P ASX 200 snapped a four-day winning streak, with shares down 0.3 percent in early trade, below Tuesday’s two-month closing high of 5,547 points.
Japanese shares may fall from Tuesday’s one-month high at the open. Futures in Chicago and Osaka traded down at 17,675 and 17,620 respectively, well below the Nikkei’s previous close of 17,768.
